I have always been a teacher of students in early ages: infants, pre-schoolers, kindergarteners and I am in my second year as a first grade teacher. I have 23 years of experience , 9 of those years working for St Vrain School District. I enjoy my job and I am very dedicated to my students, their progress and to help their parents to get involved in their Education.
I am a stronger believer of Bilingual Education. When students grow stronger in their first language, maintain their cultural roots they adapt and respect the second culture better with a more positive actitud. The respect of their identity is vital, make them happier and they transfer more rapidly to the second language.
Siempre he sido una maestra de estudiantes en edades tempranas: de infantes, pre- escolares, kindergartens y ahora estoy en mi segundo año como maestra de primer grado. Tengo 23 años de experiencia, 9 de esos años trabajando para el Distrito St Vrain. Yo disfruto my trabajo y estoy muy dedicada a mis estudiantes, a su progreso y a ayudar a sus padres a involucrarse cada vez más en la educación de sus hijos.
Yo soy una firme creyente de la educación bilingüe. Cuando los estudiantes crecen sólidos en su primera lengua o lengua nativa, mantienen sus raíces culturales adaptándose y respetando mejor la segunda cultura. El respeto por su identidad los hace más felices y se transfieren más rápido a la segunda lengua.
